If a person thinks of himself or herself as smart it could be almost impossible for them to be quiet, and a fool is always known for their speech but a wise man is forever known for his silence.
The key to filling oneself with wisdom from the divine comes from the acknowledgment of one’s own ignorance and the acceptance of the empty nature that needs to be filled.
but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life. — Jesus
A man can never be satisfied by anything coming from without, to be truly full, one must draw from the silence within. We all know that a tree falls with great sound but a plant growing, glows in the silence that is the true nature of the divine.
But I have calmed and quieted my soul, like a weaned child with its mother; like a weaned child is my soul within me. Psalm 131:2
In nature, silence is the manifest of the divine. There is never a sound out of place. Even with the roar of a waterfall or the rumble of thunder, you can be alone with yourself.
An empty vessel makes a loud noise but a vessel with content makes little to no sound. One must engage himself in search of the truth that lies within because only there, in that silence he will find the answers to all his problems. Peace 😊
